Orlando's star player tweaked his right foot during the third quarter in a loss to the Sacramento Kings on Friday.
It appears likely that the Orlando Magic will be without Arron Afflalo for their matchup with the Denver Nuggets on Saturday. The Magic's leading scorer came down awkwardly on his right foot while attacking in transition against the Sacramento Kings on Friday:
Afflalo hurts his right foot against the Kings.
The star forward reported feeling a burning sensation in his foot and came up limping after the play. X-rays on Afflalo's foot and ankle came back negative, according to a report from the Orlando Sentinel.
Afflalo has had a bit of a breakout year for the Magic, averaging per36 highs in points and assists while becoming a do-it-all player for a team that sits at just 12-24 on the year. Orlando could struggle against Denver without him -- Afflalo has seen the court for a team-high 75% of available minutes for the Magic.
Moe Harkless would be moved to the starting lineup if Afflalo is unable to go against the Nuggets.
