It looks like George Karl won't be the only one making his debut tonight. The newly acquired Andre Miller will also be in uniform and looks like he might play according to Coach Karl himself. However, he won't start, as that duty will be given to interim backup PG Ray McCallum. Darren Collison remains out of action with a hip flexor injury.
Coach Karl is also implementing another change to the starting lineup that doesn't have anything to do with injuries; He's making the move to start Carl Landry at PF rather than Jason Thompson, who moves to the bench. Karl reportedly said that this was not a demotion but rather a re-shuffling.
"Landry will start at 4 not demotion 4JT rotate on my whim not sure y we have starters y don't we have finishers" Karl #Kings v #Celts#NBA

Carl Landry will start at the power forward spot. Jason Thompson to the bench. Not a demotion according to Karl. Reshuffling.

This is just the first of what I'm sure will be a bevy of changes implemented by the new Kings head coach as he looks to rebuild this team into a winner. We'll see how that pans out, starting tonight with Boston.
