A daily glimpse of Arizona Wildcat performances in the NBA

Two Wildcats were in action on Tuesday night, and they were both involved in the same game. Here's how they did:

Andre Iguodala: Iggy had a terrific night. In 24 minutes, Andre scored 17 points on 6-8 shooting and also went 2-3 from behind the arc. He grabbed 4 rebounds and had an assist as well. The Warriors got off to a slow start, but with the help of Iggy's bench unit, Golden State went on a 23-0 run near the end of the first half. That run ultimately was too much for the Kings to overcome as the Warriors went on to win easily, 121-96. Iguodala was involved in numerous highlight plays for the Warriors. He had this nice hockey assist which led to a David Lee dunk. He had this nice dunk alongside the baseline after he beat his man off the dribble. And finally, he had this jam in transition. On a related note, Steve Kerr was named as the Western Conference Coach of the Month for January.

Derrick Williams: Despite struggling in his last few games, D-Will got the start against Golden State tonight. However, he didn't make much of an impact. He scored 2 points on 1-3 shooting, and had 3 rebounds.

Injury note: It was reported today by Adrian Wojnarowksi that Jordan Hill is likely to miss 2 weeks with a strained hip. It's really a bummer since Hill was playing really good basketball just prior to getting hurt. Hopefully he doesn't suffer any setbacks and can return in 2 weeks or sooner.
