While today's game against the Bucks was speculated heavily to be DeMarcus Cousins' return date, as late as last night the Kings had him listed as "questionable" to play, which according to the Kings meant just a 25% chance.
Today however, the Kings released an injury update which upgraded DeMarcus Cousins to probable. Rudy Gay is also probable, while Omri Casspi (left knee bone contusion) and Reggie Evans (left knee & hip contusion) are both out.
Cousins likely will not play heavy minutes tonight or in the near future as he works back into game shape. It's also unknown if he will join the starting lineup or come off the bench. Either way, it's good to simply have him back on the court. Before catching viral meningitis, Cousins was having a career year, averaging 23.5 points on 51.2% from the field and a league leading 12.6 rebounds a game.
Welcome back big fella!
